T: As you know, we are living on Earth now. But people have already been to the moon. Maybe in the future we can live on the other planets, such as the Moon, Mars and so no. Do you like living on the other planets?
Explain the meaning of planet and write it on the Bb.
Ss: Yes. / No.
T: Living on Mars is our dream. Maybe it is fun. What is the life on the other planets like? Do you want to know?
Ss: Yes. / No.
T: OK. Let’s watch some video about the man on the moon.
Shows the video about the astronauts on the moon and Ss watch it.
T: What’ s your feeling about the life on the moon?
Ss: I think it is exciting / wonderful / …
T: Can you imagine the life on Mars? And now Let’s watch some Flash and you may listen to the dialogue carefully and find out the answer to the question — How dose Eddie like life on Mars?
T: Who can answer the question?
Ss: He hates it.
T: Watch and listen again and tell me why he hates it?
Ss: He can’t get to his food.
T: Why can’t he get his food?
Maybe the Ss don’t know the answer. T helps them to find the answer: Because he wears the helmet (Explain the meaning of helmet and write it on the Bb.)
Show the flash again and let Ss imitate the dialogue.
