Teaching procedures:
Step1. Lead-in
Ask :Do you want to live on mars? Yes or no? Why?
Get students to talk with your partner. Then invite some of the students to give their opinion.
Step2. Listening
1.Say: The students are talking about the advantages and disadvantages of living on Mars. Daniel wants to make notes. Please listen to the t ape carefully and help Daniel complete the note.
2.Get the students to go through the note
3.Play the tape for the students to listen and complete.
4.Check the answer together as a class.
Step3. Pair work
Get students to discuss: Where do you want to live? Earth or Mars?
Get students to make a dialogue with partner by using a model.
