Guessing meanings
Tips:构词法:① 根据常用的词根和前后缀(im-, in-, un-; -less, -ness等)进行猜测;
② 根据合成词中的已知词含义并将它们进行整合猜测词义。
近、反义词:① 利用近义词进行猜测(关键词:and, or, also…);
②利用反义词进行猜测(关键词:not, while, however, unlike, instead…)。
定义或释义关系:定义或释义关系常由定语从句或is, that is (to say), in other
words, be called,破折号等来表示。
上下文逻辑关系:根据生词与上下文之间的逻辑关系猜测词义。注意关联词:because, as, since, for, so, so…that, such…that, as a result, of course, therefore等。
