Step?1?Greetings

T:?Today?we’ll?study?Unit9,My favorite subject is science. Section A (1a 2c).

Step 2 Lead-in

1. T: Look at my coat. What color is it?

S: It’s pink.

T: I like pink very much. Do you like pink?

S: Yes,I do.

2. T: Here are some colors. What color do you like?

S1: I like red.

S2: I like black.

T: I like orange and yellow. But my favorite color is blue.

Do you know favorite?

T: What’s your favorite color?

S: My favorite color is blue.

(Ask the Ss to make this dialogue one by one.)

Step 3 Presentation

T: Just now we talked about your favorite color. Next Let’s talk about your favorite subject. (Learn and read the word: subject)

T: What subjects do you study at school?

Learn and read the words: science, P.E., music, math, Chinese, geography, history.

Make a sentence like this :I study…at school.

Step 4 Practice
