Step1 Warming-up and revision

Watch a video that is made by their classmates and answer the questions about what Lisa’s favorite subject is.Why? When? Who? Then make a revision about the subject and the adjectives to describe the subjects.

Step2 Reading

Before reading

Task 1---Free talk:Show the picture in the passage and let students talk about it from the two questions.

Q1:Who is the girl in the picture?

Q2:What is she doing?

While-reading

Task 2---Skimming:Underline the subjects Yu Mei likes. Circle the subjects she doesn’t like. Check the answers. Finally talk about the question: Are Yu Mei’s ideas the same as yours?

Task 3---Scanning:Read it carefully.Suppose you are Yu Mei. Complete the schedule with the information in 2b.
