Show a picture and ask students some questions:

How many days are there in a week? Seven.
What day is it today? It is ... At first let's learn the seven days of a week.

Step 2 Presentation& Practice
Presentation 1 (3min)
Learn new words by chanting..
Show the chant to the students, and lead students to learn the new words: Monday/ Tuesday/ Wednesday / Thursday/ Friday/ Saturday / Sunday .

Brainstorm (5min)
We have math at 8:05 A.M. on Monday.We have art at 3:00 P.M on Tuesday.We are very busy from Monday to Friday. But we are free on Saturday and Sunday.

Learn and Practice description words(5min)
Ask students the question: What's your favorite food/ subject/ .? Why? Why not?
Learn the descriptions words by showing them some vivid pictures. Collect as many descriptions as we can, and teach the new words: cool and free.
