Step 2 Lead in and Review
展示学习目标,让学生自己默读,做到心中有数。
媒体图片,帮助学生回忆上节课学习的服饰相关的单词并抢答说出图片对应的英语单词:hat, T-shirt,jacket, sweater,bag,hat,skirt,socks,shorts,shoes,trousers, dollars. 然后学生齐读所有的英语单词。
设计意图:这一步是为了让学生为接下来的口语活动打下基础。
3. 做个课前的小练习,深层独学,让学生自我完成。
4.让学生根据所展示的服饰图片,进行对学群学活动,(Activity 1)学会提问:How much is/are the…? 以及回答:It’s/They’re…dollars.
设计意图:目的是给学生创设情景,两人一组练习句型。

引导学生自己学会选词造句,结合服饰和颜色的单词,写出句子。(Activity 2 in 3a)
Eg. How much is that purple skirt?
How much are those black trousers?
展示句子,让学生总结出规律。How much is the/ this/ that …? How much are the/ these/ those…?

Step 4 Practice
Let students look at the pictures and write the questions and answers.(Activity 3)
Ask some students to answer the questions and answers.
Group work. Play a memory game. The students will be divided into two groups. Students A, look at the pictures in 3b for a minute and then close your book. Student B, ask questions. Then change roles.
( Each group only has five chances. If the answers of student A are all right, the group will get one point.)
Student A : How much is that hat?
Student B : It’s five dollars.
…
The group which loses the game will put on a performance in front of the class.
