StepⅠ Warming-up and Leading-in

Watch a short video about how the students go to school.Then ask the students “What can you see from the video?” Help the students revise “how” “how far” “how long”。Revise the languages in SectionA.

【设计意图】教师通过播放由学生自己录制的关于上学方式的视频,在问题的帮助下有效的复习前面学过的而且使本单元重点的how句式。思维情景的创设能激活学生的思维,为后面的学习做好铺垫。

StepⅡ Before reading

Show a picture and ask: “What can you see in the picture?”Export the way to school about the students in the poor places. Ask:How do they go to school? Then let the students guess what the passage is about.At the same time they learn the words: village,ropeway and cross.

【设计意图】出示文章的图片,让学生猜测这两个男孩子想做什么,由此猜测What is the passage about。同时把词汇放在情景中去学习,尤其应关注“语块”的学习,如:go on a ropeway.

StepⅢ While reading

Task1 Read the passage quickly and match the pictures with the sentences.
