VI. Teaching Procedures:

Step1. Lead-in

Chat with the students about the date and lead in Father Christ to let students be active

and divide the students into 5 groups to compete in the class.

Step2. Review

Activity1 Guessing Game

Students choose the number they like. Behind each number there is a picture or a

piece of music or sound. Students are required to guess what ball game is it and write

each word down on the whiteboard.

Activity2 Let’s chant

Students will be able to review the six ball games again and be introduced to the new

sentence pattern “Let’s do.”, which makes it easier for them to learn in the following class.

Step3. Presentation

Use the chant to explain more about the sentence pattern “Let’s do.”, and in the

meantime, introduce the other sentence pattern to students. Then teach students the

meanings and uses of the five adjectives by diving them into 2 groups- positive ones and

negative ones.

After learning the positive ones, students are shown 3 pictures with 3 sentences.
