step 1 warming up
show some pictures and get the ss to ask and answer:
what's he/ she doing? he/ she is playing basketball.
what are they doing? they are shopping.
is he/ she swimming? yes, he/she is. / no, he/ she isn﹨'t.
step 2 presentation
ask more questions about the pictures:
where are they playing football?
who is he/ she talking to? etc. (目的是引入本课的现在进行时的各种特殊疑问句。)
step 3 practice
get the ss to look at the pictures and answer the questions in pairs. then talk to each other what’s happening in the pictures. (section a 4)
step 4 practice
talk about the places where different activities take place.
1.look at the pictures and complete the chart. (section b-1a)
2.ask and answer questions on the information in the chart, using the structures:(section b-1b)
