Ss:Yes,it is./ No, it isn’t.It’s ...

Ss:Yes, they are./ No, they aren’t.

Ss’ role: To answer and revise.

Step 2 Words learning and match

Learn new words by showing some pictures or objects.

Read, memorize and match.

Teacher’s role: To teach and show

Students’ role: To read, memorize and match.

Its purpose is to get ready for the next listening.

Step 3 Ask and answer (speaking time)

Prepare a baseball as an example. Lead students to ask and answer like this:

A: What’s this?

B: It’s a baseball.

A: How do you spell it?

B: B-A-S-E-B-A-L-L.

Then, divide students into some small groups to practice like that.

Step 4 Listening

Before listening, guide students how to listen.Listen again if necessary.
