2 Practice the conversations with your partners:Use your own school things to make conversations with your partners.

Step 4 Presentation.

Show the Grammar Focus,and explain the grammar to the students,then read and practice about it.

Step5 Look and say.

The aim of this process is to consolidate the above grammar focus.Let students can ask and answer about how to identify thins.

-Is this/that your /her/his...? -Yes,it is. It's.../No, it isn't.It's ...

-Are these/those your/her/his ...?-Yes,they are. They're.../No, they aren't.They're...

Step 6 3a(Complete the questions and answers about each picture.)

First, I will give several minutes to do the exercises in 3a, then I will show the table on the screen and check the answers ,then ask the students to read and role play the conversations.

Step7 3b(Read the questions and complete the answers.)

First, I will give several minutes to do the exercises in 3b, then check the answers.

Step8 Play a guessing game.

Put somethings into the teacher’s box. Then take one thing out of the box and find the owner. They only have two guesses!

Students can use this sentence to find the owner of school things that are in the box:Is this your eraser? Yes,it is./No, it isn’t.

Step 9 Summary.

Today we have mainly learned something about school things and how to identify things.
