1. Ask and answer exercise.

2. Check two tasks in their guiding cases.

.3.listen to a song and answer three questions: What is the song about? How many family members can you hear? Who are they?

新课教学:

Ⅱ. Presentation

1. (Show some photo of Xiao Yu’s family.)

T: What’s his name?

Ss: His name is Xia Yu.

T: We know Xia Yu has a happy Family. Now let’s come into his family .Let Students look at the picture and ask a student to read the passage. Discuss in groups: the family members in the passage and how to introduce family.

2. Ask students to say out family members and how to introduce people.

3. Teach new words.

(Bb: brother, father, mother, parent (s), grandfather, grandmother, grandparent (s) )

4. Look at the pictures and teach the students to introduce family members. Help them to summary the sentence patterns:This/That is…. These/Those are….

5. Work on 1a. Let Ss look at the picture in 1a. Then read the words on the left side. Then match the words with the people in the picture.
