This is the writing task part of this unit, which aims to develop students writing skill and help students know how to introduce a festival in English.
2. Students analysis
①The students have learned some words and expressions about festivals, have read some passages about festivals in different cultures, so I will lead them to discover more useful expressions and apply these expressions to introducing festivals.
②As senior high students, they hope to grasp knowledge by independence investigation rather than taught by teachers. So I will create some opportunities for them to practice and present themselves.

Task Introduction: My friend Johnson asked me to write some articles introducing some of the important festivals of China and I would like to ask you for help.

I am writing to ask you for help. Recently I have set up a website introducing festivals around the world, aiming to promote the cultural understanding of the whole world. And I am wondering if it is possible for you to write some articles introducing some of the important festivals of your country. I would be grateful if you are kind enough to do me a favor.
