Procedures:
Step one: Warming up
Play a game by asking some students to cut the circle with only one hand.
The students can’t finish the task without the help of others so they will know the importance of teamwork.
Step two: Pre-reading
Look at the two pictures and guess what you are going to read in the coming passage.
Possible version: A bridge was washed away by the stream. Later the bridge was rebuilt. And then ask the students one question “who built the bridge?”
Step three: Reading
Task one: Skim the passage quickly and match the information. (3 minutes)
