By the end of the lesson, the sts. Will
1. Have brainstormed (revised) vocabulary about animal protection in mind maps.
2. Have written a short (70-90 word) topic composition in a limited time using a process writing approach.
3. Have helped to evaluate their classmate’s work and developed some basic ‘editing’ skills.
Assumptions What your students already know (about the language, an activity, the topic) that will help them in this lesson?
The sts. are in the middle of a course. I will teach them the key contents of a whole unit over the next 5 days (5x40 minutes: lexis / reading skills / listening skills / grammatical input / writing skills
The class is already aware of the key syllabus issues of Unit 2. In this lesson I hope they will begin to activate some aspects of the unit (as well as revising previous lexis & grammatical structures)

The sts. transform passive learning to active learning with the assistance of technical equipments (such as PPT, Pads, Internet, etc.)
