2.Enable the students to polish their compositions with the help of the writing techniques taught in this class, including adding some proper details, using various expressions and sentence patterns, using linking words.

Teaching Procedures:
Step1: Greetings and Lead in
1. Present the writing task and ask the students to figure out the tense, information, person, style of the composition.
2. Ask the students to figure out the outline of the composition.
Step2: Comparison and Evaluation
Ask the students to read three articles, compare them and share their opinions:
How much score will you give them?
(2) What are their advantages and disadvantages?
2. Summarize the advantages and disadvantages of these three articles.
Step3: Polishing
1.Content
(1) Ask the students to add proper details to one example sentence and present their works.
(2) Discuss their presentations and summarize three techniques that can be used to make the composition detailed.
Language
Ask the students to use the specified techniques to combine sentences.
Coherence
Present a paragraph without cohesive markers and then ask the students to choose suitable cohesive markers to fill in the blank.
Handwriting
Show Students three compositions with beautiful handwriting and remind them to pay special attention to their handwriting which contributes a lot to their score.
