Ss can improve their listening skills by getting key words or information. And then they can put what they have heard or mastered into speaking and develop their critical thinking.
3. Emotional or moral objects
(1). Students can have a good knowledge of self-help tour.
(2). Students will raise their awareness of civilization and protecting environment and tourism resources during travel.
Teaching Important and Difficult Points
1. Teaching key points
(1). Inspire Ss to express themselves freely. Develop students’ listening and speaking skills by presenting some materials about self-help tour.
(2). Have students master and review the important words and expressions about travel in this unit.
2. Teaching difficult points
(1). Enable students to improve their listening skills by getting key words in listening.
(2).Help express themselves confidently using the useful expressions and sentences obtained during this unit.

To achieve these teaching aims, I will use the following methods according to the modern social communication teaching theories:

2. Ss and teacher interaction in listening and speaking
3. Question-and-answer activity teaching method

Teaching Procedures:
Step1: presentation
1. Let students enjoy a video about self-help.
2. Talk freely with students about the desire for and belief in self-help tour.
3. Let students listen to what self-help tour is about and express themselves freely about the topic.
4. Students make short dialogues about travel with the teacher or among themselves.
Step2: Listening practice
