Teaching content：
Listen to a monologue and then answer questions and finish teaching task of intensive listening.
Teaching process：
1.Raise a question：What are the four basic skills of learning English?通过回答问题让学生明白英语听力的重要性。
2. Listen a monologue，and then answer questions；
Teacher check answers and teach intensively this monologue.
Understand：
Interpret the words,expressions,sentences and culture background which make students difficult to understand.
Listen carefully：
Play sound files and make students point out voice phenomena in them,read and realize the differences between them. Point out the students’problems.
Voice phenomena include: liaison,voice ,tone,assimilation,consensus and pause and so on.
Play a song “You raise me up”and let students experience voice phenomena while listening.
Express：
After teaching the lexical chunks,let students translate the sentences and repeated practice.
Checklist:
Make a list of some sentences and let students review the above three parts.
