The present tense 一般现在时
构成:be(am,is,are) do(does)
用法：
1. I usually get up at six o’clock in the morning.
2. The plane takes off at eight o’clock.
3. Practice makes perfect.
4. If it rains tomorrow, I will stay at home.
The present continuous tense 现在进行时
构成：be（am，is，are）+doing
用法：
1. The water supply has been cut off because the workers are repairing one of the main pipes.
2. My father is coming to see me this Saturday.
习题：

2. Send my regards to your lovely wife when you _____ (write) home.

Part Two ing形式和ed形式
一般来说，动词的ing形式和ed形式都可以用来做形容词。ing形式是用来形容事物的，意为：令人（感到）……，使人（感到）……。而ed形式是用来形容人的，意为：（人）（感到）……。例如:
I was excited when I got the exciting news.
