Writing：运用所学词汇、短语、动词-ing形式，按照要求作书面练习；描写自己喜欢的老师。语言运用用表示个性特征的词汇描述熟悉的人；描述好老师的特征；掌握运用常用的描述人物特征的句式，例如：

She’s also very serious and doesn’t smile much.

There are a few students who keep coming to class late.文化意识了解国外中学生对教师风格的要求，通过对比改进学习风格。通过对中外学校师生关系进行对比，进一步促进师生关系的发展。情感态度加深对教师的了解和热爱，既发挥学习主动性，也配合教师的教学工作，是师生关系更加融洽。教学重点使学生掌握描述人物特征的词汇和表达，能够简单描述自己喜欢的教师和课程并说明原因教学难点熟练运用表达偏爱的句型。运用任务1. One’s own preferences

Preferences about other people

2. Make a summary of the words and expressions to describe different teachers and teaching styles:

⑴Have students to fill in a table about three teachers’ styles and pick out the descriptive expressions.

⑵Brainstorm expressions to describe people and personality:头脑风暴法，让学生给出更多的描述人的特征的词汇和表达，拓展词汇。教学方法听说法 任务教学法，讨论法，合作学习， 教学媒体Multi-media teaching

Teaching steps:

Step1: Revision. Ask students to write down the following words and check the meanings.

topic, vacation

Step2 Present new lesson (Speaking)

Look at the pictures. They are Mrs. Li, Mrs. Chen and Mr. Wu. Let’s answer the following questions.
