Step1 Greetings and leading in.

1.Say to the students : You look excited today. Can you tell me why you look excited today ? ( the Object Clause)

I can understand what makes you so happy. (the Object Clause) 2.Show the students two pairs of sentences: (1). The boy is Li Ming.

(2). Mr.liang,a 24_year old boy,teaches us English.

3.Guide the Ss to conclude from the form to understand what is noun clauses.

在句子中起名词作用的句子叫名词性从句 (Noun Clauses)。 名词性从句的功能相当于名词词组, 它在复合句中能担任主语、宾语、表语、同位语,因此根据它在句中不同的语法功能,名词从句又可分别称为主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句和同位语从句.

Step 2. Learning grammar

Show the Ss the relevant exercises of Object clause and Predicative clause and guide them to try finishing them correctly.

Help the Ss summarize Some special words are used to lead the clauses.
