本模块以“Life in the future”为话题，通过本模块的学习，使学生了解科学技术在未来生活中的巨大推动作用；功能项目是“让学生谈论未来生活”和“做出预测判断”；语法项目主要是将来进行时；写作是让学生描写10年后他们在干的事情。教师应该经过听说读写和讨论等一系列扎实有效的教学活动，进一步拓展学生的思维空间，激发他们的想象力，提高他们的语言运用能力，并使他们认识到只有靠自己的勤奋和努力，才能改造社会，为美好的未来做好充分的准备。
