A Brief Introduction of Australia

Australia, with an area of 7.6 million square kilometers, is located on the south part of the earth. It’s the largest country among other Oceanian countries, which has a large number of islands around. In area, Australia is the 6th largest nation after Russia, Canada, China, the United States and Brazil. It has a population of about 20 million and 74 %of them are immigrants who come from England and Ireland. Most time of the year, the climate is warm and nice. Most of the population live along the east and southeast coast of the country. The middle of Australia is largely covered by desert, whose weather is hot and dry. Canberra is the capital city of Australia, and the biggest city is Sydney. Australia is rich in natural resources, particularly all kinds of mineral substances. Because Australia is a relatively closed country, its contact with the outside world is very less, thus there being many rare animals, such as Koalas bears, Kangaroos, platypuses and so on. As a result of a wide range of different landscapes and rare animals, Australia has a developed travel industry, which attracts lots of tourists from every corner of the world. Welcome to Australia, a mysterious land waiting for you to explore and a different culture waiting for you to experience.
