一、教材分析教学设计

本模块是关于艺术的话题。介绍了毕加索等数位世界级著名艺术家及其艺术风格，同时引入了与艺术和艺术欣赏有关的词汇。通过学习，学生应该初步了解这些艺术家及其艺术风格，并能用英语简单地介绍自己喜爱的艺术家及其艺术作品。

本模块阅读部分文章简单易懂。内容涉及毕加索，洛伊.利希腾斯坦，齐白石，徐悲鸿等艺术家及他们的艺术作品。艺术这一话题人们并不陌生，但一般人对于艺术方面的知识的掌握都有限。而要让学生用英语描述艺术作品难度就更大了。根据这种情况，我的教学思想主要是：既然这篇文章是关于艺术的，那么就想尽一切办法使学生能通过对课文的学习而了解更多的艺术知识及作品。真正做到丰富学生的知识，扩大学生的知识面。因此基于这种想法，我在教学过程中除文章中涉及的作品外我还提供给学生很多中外名家的作品。并通过让学生自主讨论学习使学生了解更多艺术作品。在教学中我主要通过图片展示，讨论等方法激发学生学习兴趣。同时给学生创造话题让其讨论已达到语言运用的目的。使学生在学习过程中不仅了解更多的艺术知识，也学会欣赏美。

二、教学目标

1.让学生知道艺术对我们的生活很重要。通过对本文的学习使学生能更多地了解一些艺术家及其艺术作品。

2.通过对本文的学习，培养学生的快速阅读和细节阅读的能力。

3.使学生懂得珍爱生活，学会欣赏生活中的美。

三、教学重点、难点

让学生更多地了解一些艺术家及其艺术作品，从而提高他们的艺术素养，丰富艺术知识。同时意识到艺术就在我们周围，要学会欣赏它。

四、教学方法及手段
