On the basis of analyzing the learning situation of the students in grade one, they are very energetic and enthusiastic and they are eager to know more about the strategies. The subject of this period will arouse students interest and curiosity to learn and solving problems, so the teacher can make Ss actively involved by individual, pair or group work.
The concept of the design
In order to cultivate the students’ ability of finding and dealing with questions, and develop their ability to exploring their own strategies, the teacher give their chances to deal with the problems by themselves and conclude the common strategies.

Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Leading-in
Showing two pictures and ask them to spot the differences between them.
The differences are about details and arouse the students awareness of paying attention to the details. Then show them 3 groups of sentences, ask them to translate the sentences and pay attention to the words in red and tell the differences between them.
Step 2
Show the students a triangle of the proportion of the 4 types of questions in the reading comprehension and ask them to say what they find from it.(questions of detail make up the most part of all the four types.)
