Teaching procedure:
1. Lead- in :
Ask students how they get news, aiming to introduce the topic of this moduel “the Internet”.
2. Warming up:
According to the guiding paper, have a word game. Match the English definition with the word in order to help them understand the English explanation of the word.
3. Words presentation:
Students are required to find the sentences with the words “access; defence; invent” on page 52, reading and vocabulary. According to the context, students guess the meaning of each word. Meanwhile, students will finish the exercises related to the words.
As for the phrases “concentrate on; consist of; be known as”, students can guess the meaning of the phrases through the examples. Aslo, they will finish the excises of the phrases.
