1. Show 7 sentences and try to find one mistake in each sentence.
1) The Yangtze River flow into the Pacific Ocean.
2) All the students in my class are done their homework now.
3) She lived in Beijing since she came to China.
4) Recently I have my first ride on a long- distance train.
5) Do you mind open the window?
6) We all like the photographs taking by our teachers.
2. Make a list. These mistakes are about four tenses, the –ing form & the P.P. Step2 Concluding and practicing
Part I
the present simple tense;
the present continuous tense;
the present perfect tense
the simple past tense
1.Show the basic usage of each grammar and ask students to write down the basic usage of four tenses by using “Placemat”.
2.Do the exercise of Part I and then check the answers together.
Part II. The-ing form & the past participle
1)Show 2 different pictures ( falling leaves & fallen leaves; the rising sun& the risen sun) and ask students to find the difference.
