Step 1 Lead-in
Teacher: Hi class, look at the screen,here is a picture on it. Who can try to describe what is concluded in it?
Student: The father tries hard to pull the son out of the TV and the mother is anxiously helping her husband with a bag in her hand.
Teacher: great! And what can you get from the picture?
Student: The picture is trying to convince us of a fact that nowadays a large number of students are seriously addicted to watching TV.
Teacher: Today we will learn how to write a passage from a picture!
Step 2 discussion
Divide the students into small groups of four to discuss the sample writing passage and offer some help to solve some specific questions , if necessary. Ask students to analyze the structures.
