Step1 Warming up
Show a short movie of animals and ask students what the movie is about.
Step2 Lead in
T: Let's play a guessing game. I'll show you some sounds of animals and you try to
guess the animals. OK?
S: :.......
T: Yes, it is cat, we are all familiar with it. Now, Let's listen to the next one.(Use the same way to review horse, sheep, dog, pig)
T: Where can we see many different animals ?
S: zoo.
T: Let's go to the zoo. Let's see some other animals.
(设计意图:通过播放动物的声音引起学生的兴趣,并引导学生复习部分已知动物单词,进而引入到新内容的学习。 )
Step3 Presentation
Present the new words by showing the pictures of animals.
Learn new words together.
look at the picture and match the words with the animals.(Section A1a)

5. Guessing game
Describe animals and let Ss guess what animal it is to lead in new adjectives: interesting, fun, scary, smart, cute ,lazy, beautiful
(设计意图:此环节通过Guessing game来巩固新学的动物名称,并引导学生通过学习一些形容词来描述动物。 )
Step4 Practice
T: I like pandas. Because they are cute. So let's see the pandas first. What animals
do you want to see? Why do you like them?
Ask Ss to make conversations.
