2.Students may feel tired during the stage of general revision. And some of them even find it easy to memorize the usages of basic vocabulary. Thus, as their teacher, I need to help them pay enough attention to some essential knowledge.
3. I teach my students in English for the whole class in order to improve their listening skill.
Part 3. Teaching emphasis and difficulties
1. Key words and phrases in this module;
2. Master the usage of key words and phrases;
3. Use the key words and phrases to write a composition;
Part 4. Teaching methods
In this topic, I will use five-step Teaching Method , Task-based Method, Communicated Method, Group Cooperate method. I design some tasks to help the students learn. I think if I want to improve the students’ oral English, I should give them enough chances to practice and I will use pair work, group work to let the students take an active part in all kinds of activities. That is ‘Learning by doing, learning by using’. Let the students be the masters of the class teaching, and thus, student-centered teaching method is well shown.
Part 5. Teaching aids
1. To promote Ss’ understanding by using a multimedia.
2. Improve Ss’ learning interest by having a competition.
3. Make every student take part in the activities in class by individual and group work.
Part 6. Teaching procedures
Step One: Revision and Lead-in
Let the students see their dictation this morning and remember all.
Step Two: Vocabulary
Learn the new words and phrases.
Do the exercises
Every group take out a piece of paper to write down their answers in the biggest character so that teacher can see clearly.
Check the answers and explain the meaning of new words in English.(Read 2 times.)
Step Three:Role play(Word-guessing)
Two students come to the front. One faces the screen and explains the word in English, and the other tries to guess the word.
Check the students whether they have remembered all the words.
