2.master the criteria(标准) of summary writing.
3. find the key words and topic sentences by skimming.
4. write a summary.
Ability Aims:
In this period, the students will be guided to read and comprehend the passage, find the key words and topic sentences by skimming.
Emotion Aims:
In this period, try to help students to form healthy eating habits and learn to lose weight in healthy ways.

Before class, students are asked to learn the difficult words in the text which may cause trouble in understanding the words
Show some photos to the students to lead to the topic

Step 2 Presentation
Teacher introduces the requirements to the students
Step 3 Find out new words and phrases in the passage.
Task1.Read for the style(体裁).
Task2. Find out the key words and analyze the structure.
Step 4 Find out key words in each paragraph
Encourage students to cooperate with their group members to find out the key words and take note while reading the text.
Step 5 Replace the keys words by using your own words.
Encourage students to replace the words by using their own words following the basic rules of summary writing.
Step 6 Use connectives if possible to reorganize their words
Encourage students to write a summary with their own words using connectives if possible.
