本课的教学理念是面向全体学生，以学生为主体，培养学生的综合语言运用能力，发挥学生的主观能动性，让学生主动参与，乐于探究。总体思路是本节课采用多媒体教学，以此来创设良好的教学情景，优化教学过程，促进学生思考，在授课中教师采用指导—合作—探究—写作的循环教学模式，创设了学习情景，设计了层层推进，环环相扣的教学任务，拓展了话题的深度和广度，促进师生之间，生生之间充分的交流和合作，使学生能主动学习、主动探究和主动构建知识。采用教师指导下的小组合作学习的方法，了解航天项目和相关的话题。最后在语言输入的基础上，由课内延伸到课外。符合英语核心素养下的英语阅读课，培养学生的语言能力，提升学生的思维品质和学习能力，拓展学生视野和思维方式。

教学目标：

Help students learn more about space programmes.

Help the students learn how to give opinions.

Step one Leading in

Show students some pictures about our school and the hot event and tell them “Never forget why you started and your mission can be accomplished”

Have the students express their ideas.

该教学步骤旨在引出本节课的话题, 首先，呈现二中校园一些图片， 引导学生思考：你看到图片想到了什么？引起学生强烈的兴趣的同时，引出话题LOVE，为下一个环节做铺垫。
