Teaching procedure:
Step 1 warm up and review:
1. Enjoy the music and watch the pictures.
2. Ask some questions review the usages of the simple present tense.
Step 2 New words presentation.
1.Look at a picture and ask:what do you think of the picture (Learn the word;interesting )
2.Watch the pictures or the video, or listen to the music, or answer the question to learn the new words: relaxing difficult relaxing fun .
3. Read the words in different ways. Make sure every student can remember the words.
4.Game 1:Who has the best eyes? When you see the word ,stand up and say it quickly.
Game 2: Guessing: Which student is the luckiest?
Look at the pictures and guess what he / she says.
(Review the words and learn the structures: Let’s.. That’s …. )
Step 3 Work on 1a.
Point to the words in 1a and ask students to repeat each one.
Ss: interesting, fun, relaxing, boring, difficult
Let some Ss explain the Chinese meaning of them.
3. Then match each picture with one of the words.
(Point to the five pictures and ask students to match them.)
4. Correct the answers.
