The content of my lesson belongs to Module 2 Developing and Developed Countries, the Reading part, which is mainly focused on the topic of developing and developed countries. READING is an introductory article on The Human Development Report, which introduces the achievements and problems of human development in 2003. Read the passage to enrich the students' language and information about the topic of this unit. As we all know, reading belongs to the input during the process of language learning,input has a great effect on the output. So if the students can learn it well, it will be helpful for the students to learn the rest part of this Unit.

Analysis of students

The students whom I teach are Senior High School students, they have already learned English for many years, they can speak and communicate with their friends in English.But their English level is so poor , I am not sure whether this teaching design is suitable for them. However, I will try my best to adopt different kinds of teaching methods and design various activities to arouse their interest in learning.
