Step1. Lead in
1. T shows a picture about TF boys singing in the Spring Festival Gala Evening.
2. T ask Ss a question: What were they doing?
Step2. Activity 1 word game
1. T play some words and phrases related to the Spring Festival and Christmas. (GW)
2. T invites Ss to put these words into two groups.
3. T invites Ss to introduce some customs related to these words. (IW)
Step3. Activity2 Grasp the general idea of the text through key words.
1. T invites Ss to skim the text and ask them what type of text it is. Then T and Ss discuss and list the structure of the text.
