(Have a better understanding of listening materials by using listening strategies.

学情分析:

This lesson is intended for senior high school students in Grade 1, As middle school students, they are familiar with the topic of environmental protection from TV, computers and other ways of media,as a result,they would like to share their opinions, but they just have the basic proficiency in speaking,for they have just recited some words and phrases after class, lacking the chance to practice their spoken English. It is possible that they may meet some difficult words, phrases or sentences they do not know how to express correctly, what’s more, they have a rough understanding of listening materials, for they can not find the key information, and therefore, I choose the topic which would cultivate their interest and provide a chance for them to practice their listening and speaking abilities.

Difficulties :

( Guess the meanings of some words and phrases related to environmental problems by the picture,the word map and the definition.

Words and phrases:“give out”, “chemicals” ,“carbon dioxide”, “pollutant”, “pollution”, “pollute”, “atmosphere”, “damage ”,“melt ”,“recycle ”.
