课题与课标、教材的分析语言技能是语言运用能力的重要组成部分。语言技能包含听、说、读、看、写等方面的技能。听、读、看是理解性技能。《英语课程标准》中对理解性技能第1条如下：从语篇中提取主要信息和观点，理解语篇要义。第4条如下：抓住语篇中的关键概念和关键细节。第5条如下：抓住书面语篇中标题、小标题、插图的含义。本节课课型是阅读课，同时让学生在语言学习活动中理解文化的内涵。《英语课程标准》中对文化知识第9条如下：学习并初步运用英语介绍中国传统节日和中华优秀传统文化，具有传播中华优秀传统文化的意识。高考的阅读中也有相关话题的阅读语篇，所以本节课在帮助学生掌握基本的阅读技巧的同时，渗透中华优秀传统文化，提高学生的文化意识。学情分析本节课的教学对象是高一学生，高一学生对于孔、孟、墨三贤有了一定的认识和了解的基础之上，并且具有活跃的思维和创造力，但是对于英语的表达及阅读能力较薄弱。所以本节课以阅读为主体，通过阅读三贤的英语文章，帮助学生掌握相关词汇及表达方式，并且设计角色扮演以及设计标语等环节进行知识的输出，同时这些环节的设计使学生更好的参与到课堂学习中，课堂气氛活跃，教学效果显著。

Knowledge

Most students will be able to learn the meanings of the words, such as order, found, principle, stress, resign, influential, bring up by heart.

Most students will be able to understand the passage and some students can retell one of the three paragraph at least.

SkillsMost students will be able to locate the key words and the key information exactly while reading.
