About this module(教材分析）：The reading material of this module is about“three great philosophers in ancient China ,in which their beliefs of life,including their influence,are mainly talked about.The students can not only improve their reading skills and grasp some key words and sentence patterns ,but also learn about the three great philosophers’ thoughts by reading the passage and then establish a proper philosophy of life and value , getting ready for their stepping into society in the following days.”

1)To enable students to recognize the new words: principle, position, stress, resign, adviser, influential, follow, belief, found; and understand them correctly in the reading materials.

2)To get students to know more about the old sayings of ancient philosophers.

3)To enable students to grasp how to introduce great people through reading.
