Step I Greeting and leading in
Good morning everyone. Have you seen the picture? What’s it? Yes, The Three Gorges Dam. Last period, we learned the passage and deal with some questions about it. We have known that (show PPT) the three gorges dam is the largest hydro-electric dam and power station in the world with the length of over 500 km and the width of 1. 5km, we are so proud of it, right?
Today we are going to study the detail of this text. Look at the learning aims: (PPt shows)
Learning Aims:
Understand the whole passage;
The usage of the following vocabulary should be mastered by all the students: hold back; come true; dream of; equal to; by doing; construction; provide for; put…into; live a …life; etc.
generally use the non-definiting clause to deal with sentence.
