Welcome to my class. I hope we can have a good time together. Today we are going to review the grammar of Book 3. First, enjoy a short video extract from Pride and Prejudice, a famous novel written by a British female writer Jane Austen.
Look at 4 sentences from the dialogue.
Sir, I appreciate the struggle you have been through.
I’m sure the feeling which hindered your regard will help you overcome it.
Do you deny that you separated a young couple who loved each other.
...made me realize you were the last man in the world I could ever marry.
All of them are examples of attributive clauses. Now please open your books, turn to page 63, let’s finish the Activity 6 first.
