Procedures:

Step 1: Leading in

Declare this lesson task: We are going to learn the part of Cultural Corner in Module 2.

Play a word-guessing game and write “compete” on the blackboard.

Show students words and ask them to guess their meanings.

Purpose: To arouse the students’ interest and introduce the topic The London congestion Charge in a natural way.

Step2: Pre- reading

Ask students to use the words to make sentences.
