Teaching Content:
The content of my lesson is a reading material called The Student Who Ask Questions, which focuses on the giving some basic information about the father of Hybrid Rice—Yuan Longping. A number of words and phrases about people and his hybrid rice are used in this passage. Through the learning of this passage, I’ll enable students to know more about Yuan Longping and his great achievements in agriculture. At the same time, I will develop the students’ interest in science.
Teaching Aims:
Knowledge Abilities
(1)The Students can learn some new words and expressions.
For example: staple, producer, leading, figure, educate, agriculture, breeding, species, yield, original, breakthrough and so on.
(2) To improve students' reading abilities, especially how to catch the information by skimming and scanning.
(3) To train the students abilities of studying by themselves and through cooperating.

1.Make students understand something about agriculture science and develop their interest in science.
