This passage comes from Book 4 Module 4 . It is about Yuan Longping ,a great scientist who increased rice production . In the passage, the author described what he did and his achievement. The words and expressions are easy to understand. So it is not very difficult for them to understand the passage.
学情分析:
Students are in the second semester of Grade One. They have gained some skills of reading. It is not difficult for them to understand the passage. But most students are not very used to the teaching method of senior high school, lacking self-driven learning ability. So the teachers should guide the students to learn correctly and effectively. What’s more, teachers should also encourage classroom communication and cooperation.
重点难点:
How to guide the Students to summarize the main idea of each paragraph as well as the main idea of the text.
