1. I will use my own travelling experiences to introduce the topic.

Lead in the topic by showing some pictures from my trips. It is easy to attract the students’ attention and arouse the students’ interest.
2. Show a picture and ask the students “What are the Three Gorges?”
It’s a good chance for them to describe the picture by using words: cave, cliff, lake, peak, plain, plateau, shore and wood.
