Step 1:Lead in
Enjoy a video about family.
利用一则关于家庭的公益广告导课,既增加了课堂趣味性,又为引出新课做了铺垫。
Step 2:Present the new words
The teacher will teach some new words and students learn these new words in groups. (教师利用升降调领读单词。)
继续利用家庭树呈现本课的新单词:son。用类似的方法呈现其他的单词:cousin,aunt,uncle,daughter。
Step 3:Practice the new words
1. Play a bingo game
让学生在游戏中记忆学习单词
2.教师展示家庭关系图,让学生填上缺失的单词。(1a)
T:Look at the family tree. Some words are missing. Let us fill it.

3. Stand up and say the words.
4. Use sentences to introduce the people.
Step 4:Listening (1b,1c)
1.Let students read the words in 1b,then listen and check (√) the words you hear.
2.Let students describe these two pictures. Listen again. Which picture are Jiang Tao and Tom talking about?
3. Imitate the conversation in 1b & 1c and practice the conversation in pairs.
Step 5:Task 1d
Let one student draw a family tree on the blackboard and others talk about the family tree or family photo in groups. Then report it to the class.
