Teaching procedures:
Part1 Brainstorming
The teacher leads in the topic”he future house” through talking with students, meanwhile, the teacher shows some pictures to draw students’ attraction.
Part2 Listening
Based on students’ imagination of their future house, students listen to the architect’s one and compare.
Step1. Preview the useful words before listening.
Step2. Listen and finish activity2 on page5.
Step3. Work in pairs and check the answers to activity2. Now listen again.
Step4. Questions& Answers
If there are questions, one asks them, and the other answers them.
Step5. Listen again and finish activity4 on page6, (after getting the main idea of the passage, students find more details of it.)
Part3 Retelling the conversation
Listen to the conversation for the first time and complete the blanks. If not, lead students to use grammatical knowledge to solve the problems.
Part4 Speaking
Step1. Work in groups and imagine your house of the future.
Step2. Draw a picture about your future house and present it to students with words.
