Teaching procedure:
Step1. Show a short passage with some blanks.
Ask students to finish the blanks.
Check their answers and read the passage.
Ask students the time when the thing happen. What tense do we use?
Step2. Show a diary of the teacher.
From step1 we know we can use “going to” or “will” to express planned future action. In this step, ask students to express the teacher’s life in next week using “going to” or “will”.
Step3. Show a blank diary.
Here is a blank diary. Ask students to fill in the blanks according to themselves’ life. Then they can make a dialogue to find a time to meet.
Step4. Plan for your future life.
Show some time events and ask some questions. Give some examples to answer these questions.

Step5. Students’ plan in 10 years.
Make a dialogue about their future life in 10 years.
Homework: Write a short passage about your future life in 10 years using “will have done… by…”.
