Now let’s come to the most important part— teaching procedure, including the following steps.
Step1. Greeting and warming-up with running dictation, aiming to refresh Ss and review what we have learned yesterday.
Step2. Lead-in
Watch a video and guess: who is the man going to do? The topic of having a job interview can be led in and arouse students’ interest.
Step3. Listening :Task 1
Aiming to solve the first task in listening
Step4. Prediction &Group competition
Predict(预测) a question Claire could ask the manager.
The purpose is to stimulate students’ desire of listening and prepare for the following activity.
Step5. Task 3 Who is the lucky dog? (listen and fill in blanks)
Arouse students’ interest of the listening task and develop students’ ability to grasp the detailed information.
