Step1. Lead-in
Questions :
In your spare time, what kind of clothes do you like?
Do you like sports clothes?
Which brand do you like best and why?
How much do you know about Li Ning?
Do you want to know more about Li Ning?
Students answer these questions.
Step 2. Reading
1. Introduce four types of reading comprehension in English exam?
2.Skimming
(1) Let students read the first and the last sentence of each paragraph to find out the
structure of the passage and the main idea of each part.
(2)Check the answers and teach students how to conclude the main idea of the passages in the reading comprehension.
3. Careful-reading
Part one
Let students read part one to find out some related information quickly according to the numbers.
Part two
(1) Let students read part two and then discuss with partners to finish two exercises, also draw a conclusion about which kind of each exercise belong to.
(2)Check the answers and teach students the effective methods of dealing with some definite and detailed questions in the reading comprehension.
Part three
Let students read part three and then find out some information to fill in the blanks.
Finish the exercise and teach students to guess the meaning of some new words
